So, he thinks there will be blowback for The Power of the Dog because of all of Netflix's ads but doesn't say anything about Apple's push for their "little movie that could". I think that's shortsighted.
He also sees Hair and Makeup as between Dune and House of Gucci without a word for The Eyes of Tammy Faye. I think that's off the mark.
His take on Best Actress is very astute but his "go with the flow" support the three supposedly unbeatable other acting categories is more than a bit annoying.
On the other hand, his support for Flee of The Mitchells vs. the Machines over the unmentioned Encanto suggests that the Animated Feature vote may not be quite as closed and shut as most of us think.
