Guys, I feel like I'm up here accepting this award for all of us. For truly, the only way to lose the Peter Travers Top Ten List competition is to spend too much time thinking "Hey, what were the best films of last year?" This year, I was the one who spent the least time doing that. Next year, may it be one of you!

(We should do a year in advance prediction competition as well!)

I was the horse's head last year so I don't mind being the horse's ass this year. :|

SABIN!!!

Sabin came in first with 12 points. mlrg and FilmFan720 tied with 10 each, anonymous had 9 points and Big Magilla pulled up the rear with 7 points (hurt by the fact that he predicted TWO ties).

Thanks for playing everyone, and congratulations Sabin on winning the most prestigious five-entry contests of the year. You now join me as the only known two-time winner of this contest!
Second place this year.... winner next year :)

Well, his real Top 10 List is finally out, and it looks frighteningly like a possible Best Picture list! That one that was leaked earlier looks like an early draft, where Django ultimately bumped The Dark Knight Rises (which he has as an 11).

Here is what is posted on Rolling Stone:

1. The Master
2. Zero Dark Thirty
3. Beasts of the Southern Wild
4. Lincoln
5. Argo
6. Silver Linings Playbook
7. Life of Pi
8. Les Miserables
9. Moonrise Kingdom
10. Django Unchanged

It hasn't appeared on Rolling Stone.com yet, so I am holding off until we are sure this is real and final (one year, it was leaked and then changed before publication.)

I am packing right now to leave town for a funeral, so may not be able to tabulate scores until Sunday night. Please be patient!

Here's his list:

1. The Master
2. Zero Dark Thirty
3. Beasts of the Southern Wild
4. Lincoln
5. Argo
6. Silver Linings Playbook
7. Les Miserables
8. Life of Pi
9. Moonrise Kingdom
10. The Dark Knight Rises

Dammit! I had Zero Dark Thirty in the right spot but I thought he'd do something crazy and tie it with Argo. Oh, well.
