...but I could just as easily see them picking Giamatti or Spacey, sometimes when there isn't an Oscar candidate they go classier (like Farrell for In Bruges) but sometimes blockbuster-y (like Downey, Jr. for Sherlock)...Depp's double dip is hard to pick against, but Gyllenhaal also seems like the kind of star the Globes would like...who knows!
