The only sadness for Mad Men is that its victories this season have been at the least-visible shows...but it's terrific it's getting such recognition.

These two film choices sure ought to be the Oscar winners. Had Gilroy won here, it wouldn't have precluded a Cody win two weeks hence...but Cody at WGA is near-sure to repeat.

Woohoo! With a boring and predictable (yet deserved) movie slate winning, this is the best news of the evening. It is so great that this fabulous series is getting the attention it deserves.

Damien, Tee-- Mad Men's writing team won the New Series award.

And The Wire finally got some long overdue industry recognition with the Drama Series award.
