According to her Imdb page this happened already in 2000. This is sad, but apparently she managed to find work even after that ordeal.

Read somewhere recently that Susan Tyrell, Oscar nominated for Fat City (1972), has had both her legs amputated because of a blood circulation problem. Has anybody else heard about this?
