Yep Akash, I know, I´m not as tall as you but I´m tall enough to understand you. LOL!
As for marriage, believe me, is not suffocating as you believe. It will depend on the right person you are going to choose.

Tee -- That was an intentional crack on my part. Not at Zahveed and his sweet story mind you, but about how suffocating marriage in general seems to be (though I admit I'd like to be married someday (I think) and maybe have one kid).

WARNING: LAME SEXUAL HUMOR TO FOLLOW.

Anyway, I think there are a few taller people on this board.

Akash, is that a Freudian, or did you mean to substitute "noose" for "knot"?

Which means most people are midgets to me.

Zahveed, seriously that's amazing. I mean I can't imagine tying the noose at 22, let alone 18.

I don't consider my wife a midget. I'm just talking specifics. Plus, it was a good plug-in to start talking about my wife.
Talk away, Zahveed :) Are you guys in school?

One of my grandmothers was about 4'2" and I never considered her to be a midget, just very short. Though people always mentioned how short she was no one every mentioned the words midget, little person or dwarf.

Years ago a dwarf tried to pick me up on the bus - I declined as I as in a major hurry to get home. I've always regretted it because it's one of those experiences you just don't get very often.

Also the best little people film to track down is Matthew Brights Tiptoes made only a few years ago. All star cast including Gary Oldman as a dwarf in one of his best roles.

Hey, if my foot's gonna be in my mouth, it may as well be for insulting somebody's wife or something midget-related. I'll just sit here, enjoy the taste of my shoe, and enjoy being a real person.

Zahveed I admire either your integrity or your sense of humor. You decide which one fits you.

I'll go with both.

And by that I mean, Zahveed, are you seriously married?

Yes, yes I am. Got married at 18.

I'm not trying to be glib, but wouldn't you wife be considered just a very short woman? At what point is a person considered a midget?

The legal height is 4'11" and below for an adult to be categorized at a midget.

I don't walk around calling her a midget, I just consider her short. But she is technically and legally a midget, and not medically because it wasn't genetics or birth defects.
