I like fincher, i've always liked his films and enjoyed them. I don't think he's gods gift to anything, i don't think his films have deserved any nominations of any kind but do like him as a filmmaker. Zodiac was very good, i can see why people love it. I thought it was not an easy film to make work and he made it work. I found it all very interesting...this being said, i don't think its one of the best five films of the year or even in the discussion.

Fight Club was my favorite film for a while. I haven't seen Zodiac yet though, I'm a little behind the times.

I disagree. I think the maturity and restraint of Zodiac is far above everything else Fincher has ever done, especially the mess that is Fight Club.

Everything's fine, except Zodiac. One of the biggest disappointment this year. Far beyond Se7en and every single Fincher's movie including Alien3, The Game, Panic Room, Fight CLub.... ???
