That montage of the Ryan Murphy clips was a work of art in and of itself. Really exhilarating. And it's probably how his shows play best.
Yeah, I've only seen his current interviews. In fact, you can easily find videos comparing his "old" voice vs. his current voice on YouTube and TikTok.

I read somewhere that the vocal training lasted more than two years and that somehow he has not managed to leave behind the accent and voice intonation. In fact, you can easily find videos comparing his "old" voice vs. his current voice on YouTube and TikTok. I think he has not made an official comment about it.Sonic Youth wrote:I think it's genuine.OscarGuy wrote:Is that his actual voice or was he trying to do his acceptance speech as Elvis?

Re: Golden Globe Awards
I met Guillermo Del Toro after a screening for Hellboy: The Golden Army. It wasn't an after party but more of an outdoor reception. He was just sitting at his own table, drinking, and laughing. I went up to him and told him how much I admired his dedication to physically creating his monsters rather than relying on VFX, or something like that. He talked to me (or at me) for like five minutes about what creating the monsters does for the film. I don't remember it all but he made sure I understood that "When you make the monster, actually make it, you imbue it with a soul." I basically just nodded and smiled. He has a real infectious energy.
I'm sure that Guillermo Del Toro isn't just a nerdy teddy bear of a man but he certainly was to me.

Switched it from Naatu Naatu at the last minute. My mistake. There is no resisting Naatu Naatu.
