My predictions: The Golden Age, Hairspray, and Sweeney Todd.
I can see Todd taking this, but Elizabeth taking Costume as consellation.
Predicting the Make-Up Finalists
I agree Cam. And it's the kind of obvious makeup up trick that will be nominated and probably win. A lot of times Oscar voters confuse "most" with "best."
My predictions are Hairspray, Sweeney Todd and Pirates.
Depp vs Travolta -- in ANY competition of "cool" or "relevant" -- Depp wins.

Well, it's been a bit of a head scratcher because so many films are leaning towards CGI monsters and foregoing the wonderful jobs created by great make-up effects artists, but for the few that I've see (mostly heard about), I am going out on a limb as to predicting these seven films to be the finalists for Best Make-Up:
Elizabeth: The Golden Age
Enchanted
Evan Almighty
Hairspray
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Sweeney Todd
300
And from those, 300, Hairspray and Sweeney Todd would be nominated with 300 winning. Were there any other films anyone feels I left out?
