Re: The AMc/Universal Deal

Disney's decision with Mulan came as a surprise but then again not. I suppose I'm surprised because it happened sooner than I expected - I thought they may have held off a few more months but then no a surprise because the pandemic is worsening pretty much everywhere and it is not going to be a good...

Re: Stay Safe Everyone!

It seems the Covid strain in the USA is different to the one in Pakistan. Most of the population here is going about without social distancing or masks and the death rate is low. People here should be dropping like flies but they are not. Wondering why places like the USA and Brazil are so badly hi...

Re: Stay Safe Everyone!

Precious, my advise to you is that you get nothing from reading these articles aside from getting even more scared. There will always be cases like this either from Covid or any other disease. I can share my personal story. My daughter, who is now 14 years old, was diagnosed with diabetes type 1 wh...

Re: 2019 Oscar shouldabeens

I've updated my selections.

Waves takes my top cinematography spot (from The Nightingale). 4th & 5th place supporting actresses have also been updated.

Still have more films to see from 2019.

He is the sort of actor that SAG should be giving lifetime achievement awards to. I think Charles Durning was one of the best ever choices SAG made for their Lifetime Achievement Award.

Shoot the Moon was riveting with possibly Diane Keaton's best screen performance. R.I.P. I found Shoot the Moon rather ho-hum back in 1982 despite across the board solid performances. I purchased the DVD over 10 years ago and when I finally got around rewatching it discovered the disc was dead (I p...

I rarely watch any of the sitcoms or drama series but like to watch the Limited series/Movies. Of this year's nominees I have only seen Hollywood. Almost all are readily available to watch and will be watching them soon. What are your views on the nominees? Any special recommendations? I've only se...

Reza I think you left out Monica Vitti & Stella Stevens who like Joanne Woodward are suffering from dementia.
