Stories like these are popping up everywhere, with the prospect of the revelation that Saddam may have gotten rid of his WMD before Bush sent troops. I still believe he did, since I have always contended it was strange that he would have put up such a front for so long, even after war seemed inevit...

Criddic, I hope you realise that the author of this article is operating under the premise that the war is a debacle and that the administration screwed up big time. Perhaps, but the author also makes a case that we shouldn't rule out the possibility that Bush's vision is the correct one and that s...

I have to agree. It sounds as though he is doing this to make a bigger profit off of a now-successful movie, when he must know that a film like this would not have been expected to do this well normally.

Give the President Some Credit By Debra Saunders Allow me to explain why I remain among the dwindling numbers of Americans -- about 37 percent, according to the American Research Group -- who approve of the job President Bush is doing. The death toll of American troops and Iraqis killed by terroris...

Crash is a fine film, with some powerful performances in it. I wouldn't necessarily choose it as the top choice of 2005, though. It raises important issues and deals with many different characters with suspense and depth. It's not a perfect movie, but it is better than a lot of other movies out the...

That's a good point, although a little overstated. I don't think I can justify putting Watts in lead, but I'll think a bit more about it. Her character does become supporting to Kong. And by your logic, Jack Black is also in nearly every frame and could be considered in the lead actor category. Tim...

Well, I just couldn't see her placing in Best Actress for a role that supports a giant ape effect. She was great working with the special effects and making the relationship between her character and Kong somewhat believeable, but the movie is about Kong.

Yeah, well, the NY Post. I have read totally the opposite in a million places. Maybe there are some places that have adequate electricity. But not in Baghdad, that's for sure.

It says that in the article I posted. I rest my case.

I thought Lord of War was excellent. Jared Leto was surprisingly good. Andrew Niccol has a pretty good track record so far....writing/directing Gattaca, writing Truman Show and writing/directing Lord of War.
