Well to me, to be overrated, it had to be rated very high and get nominated for a best picture. And since i actually liked crash and thought it was a pretty great film, i can't vote for crash. I was totally captivated by the who story of capote, at the edge of my seat for the climactic scene, so i ...

I thought he dropped the ball with both gattaca and simone....but both were interesting for a little while....but his writing of the truman show was wonderful, great script. And Lord of War is also good writing, and he keeps the story together for the most part....i look forward to what he decides ...

Has anyone but one other person besides myself seen Lord of War? I notice that out of all you guys that list all your films, only one has it down....I don't know why i noticed that, but i saw a commercial for the video and decided to look at what you all thought. I thought it was a pretty good film...

Maybe expect was the wrong word....but i was basically refering to the direction the story was going, not what i was hearing about how good the film was. There was a lot of build up in the story and it never seemed to pan out. I got emotionally attached to these characters and somewhere along the l...

Brokeback Mountain *** out of ***** This was a very ok film...probably more good then bad. Actually none of the film was bad. But that doesn't mean any of it was great either. And part of my negativity was the fact i couldn't help think what this could have been. I was waiting for something to happ...

Syriana I rate this is a five out of five star film. I can't help but draw similarities to traffic. These films are kinda almost identical in themes and the way he develops the plots. Just two very different subjects. I've heard some complaints about character development. I don't think thats an is...

The Upside of Anger This is a pretty darn good film here. Sometimes sitcomish and sometimes weird and sometimes painful to watch. But i liked it very much as a hole. The story is a painful one to watch sometimes. It centers around a mother of 4 daughters who's life is totally breaking down and who ...

Hustle and Flow Just a few things on this film. I'll start by saying this film could have been pretty bad. This story is a story we've all seen before. And the script isn't all that great. It lost me in a few directions it went towards the end, i just didn't get behind it and i couldn't get to emot...

I missed these two films in the theatre for some reason but watched them on dvd. 40 Year Old Virgin Not much to say here except that i laughed out loud many many times. The script is hilarious and all the performances are flat out funny. Steve Carell is a comic genious, and i say this from watching...

Crash Ok i know theres a lot of negativity towards this film on this site. So before i spoke about how great it is, i made sure i watched it for a second time. And its still one of the best films i've seen this year. My reasons behind this are pretty simple, one i was entertained, two i was in awe ...

Lets see, i'll review two films that i saw for a second time. Walk the Line Very well made. I'm a very big johnny cash fan so i knew this would be easily accesible for me. I knew a lot of the story going in but there were a few things that were surprises. The story was very well told, it didn't sta...
