I don't know what the industry reviews have said about the film, but i know a few people were wowed when they saw it last month. What do you all think about the possibility of David Lynch getting another directing nomination and laura dern possibly getting another best actress nomination for inland...

After seeing the british independent nominees i think you all have to really think hard about putting the history boys on any of your lists. I'm a big fan of play but i have also been very worried how it would translate to the screen. I have a suspision that it will not hit home emotionally like it...

The Proposition 3 out of 5 stars. This could have been a lot better. What a great plot nick cave developed here. And the story was pretty good. The acting is phenominal. The script just loses touch with the characters a little bit. Where your suppose to have a lot of emotion, the film seems to dist...

Thank You For Smoking Finally saw this one. I went in with high hopes and this didn't dissapoint. A very sound satire that gets off to a really slow start. The tone was being set and i don't think the jokes hit the first half hour. But then the story got a little better and we got a real insight to...

The Departed 5 out of 5. Pretty great stuff here. In some ways better then the original in other ways worse, in a lot of ways different. This film shares the basic brilliant plot that the original has. But the tone is completely different, the way the characters are developed are completely differe...

All the Kings Men Ok i give this one 3 stars out of 5. Its not as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be. Of course i'm a little more lenient then most with things like flawed accents. I'm not too lenient on the missteps that the director takes here though. So this is a generous 3 stars. 3 ...

I have a hard time believing the globes won't nominated the departed and one of its actors for lead actor in a drama, if jacks supporting then leo. Even if it doesn't make the cut for the oscars i can't see it not making the cut here with the star power in front of the camera and behind the camera ...

Inside Man 4 out of 5 Stars. This is well made in every way. It does everything its suppose to do. A very entertaining film. I'm not going to go too far into the plot because i don't want to give anything away. This is a very good thinking mans film...you have to be on your toes to enjoy it. The fi...

Hollywoodland Ok i give this one 3 and a half out of 5 stars. Parts of this film range from being great and even better then that. Other parts are just plain good. The film goes back and forth from a private eye investigating the aparent suicide of george reeves and the actual adult acting life of ...

Kate Winslet is a much bigger babe then sienna miller!! And a proven great great actress....but i do like sienna and i've heard through the grapevine that this is a film to look out for because of the performances from miller and pearce...so i have high hopes because i've read about both of these c...

See i think you guys are predicting too heavy on the history boys....i've seen the play and i wouldn't be surprised if its a great film. But i also wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come together as great as it did on stage. I'm looking forward to it but i don't know how its going to turn out. On ...

I'll open this season with my thoughts on the Illisionist. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The technicals are great. Great scenery and great camera work. The story is a pretty straight forward love story that i've seen before and the magic part of it is both a curse and a blessing. The blessing is that...
