To Archuleta's credit though, he took his defeat in stride and seemed happy for Cook. At least he didn't cry and blubber up the stage the way Brooke White did (that was embarrassing!) -- he may be cheesy and a predictable singer, but he's a good kid. I hope he gets away from his father soon though.

True OG. Except that Cook's fanbase aren't people who swoon at prepubescent singers belting ballads. And the producers have got to know that. His strengths are cover songs -- the studio versions of "Billie Jean" and "Always Be My Baby" are immensely popular. If they want to milk...

Oh yeah, and there hasn't been an American Idol this deserving since Kelly Clarkson. Way to go David Cook!

DAVID COOK WON!!!! A HA HA HA HA HA!! Yes! I'm so glad! So deserving! Wow, for once an American voting public got something right. The only reason I feel sorry for Archuleta is that his dad will probably beat him tonight for losing. (And I'm glad Simon and the other judges who lost all integrity fo...

The people voting for Archuleta are the same people that come back every year, vote, jump up and down win their chose one wins, and then forget about him when it comes time to pick up a CD. The most that will happen to him will be his return to sing a song next year. Exactly. Taylor Hicks anyone?

Dial Idol, which has correctly predicted the winner of American Idol every single season, is calling it for....DAVID COOK! No joke! Man, I hope they're right!

Psssh. Whether or not his dad is a douche bag is beside the point. I still like the little guy and I love his music. I still think he's very talented. I'm still rooting for him to win and have a fruitful music career. It's still sad that the media is taking a glee in tearing this kid down. I can't ...

2. Actually, your statistic on Americans who think we are winning is wrong. Not too long ago, I read a poll that stated a majority think we can win in Iraq. That doesn't mean that they want to stay, but they think it is winnable. I'll try to locate the poll. I bet tickets to Avenue Q that this is a...

And, I didn't care much for Syesha in the early weeks. I thought there were many other female vocalists that were better, but over time, she has improved dramatically and I have to say she's grown into my favorite of the performers. She seems genuine and she seems like she's actually having fun whi...

I think poor Syesha will get the boot even though Castro should have been eliminated before the top 10! At the very least he should have gone during Webber week when Carly and Syesha knocked it out of the park. Neither one of them deserved to be in the Bottom 2 while that fool remained safe.

Pretty good list! ESPECIALLY John Mayer. God, how he gets a free pass as a "real artist" by so many people, I'll never understand.

Syesha has been decent for some time now and they've always been too hard on her (except Paula) and I could never figure out why. Her performance of Vanishing last week was also lovely and at this point, she deserves to make it further than Carly, Jason and yes even my dear Brooke. (I can't even re...
