I would love to see Michelle Rodriguez getting an Emmy nod for Lost. It would be such a pleasant surprise. In fact, I love the two episodes of Lost that are devoted to her character development which kinda help to explain why she is one tough and unreasonable chick. Too bad she's not returning for ...

very disappointed with the lake house's opening weekend numbers. but it seems to have good word-of-mouth based on its weekday numbers. hopefully it can continue to have legs and reach or better the notebook's domestic total.

oscarguy, i see that you have toby jones as a possibility for infamous but no sandra bullock. i don't see jones having any chance at all considering they've already awarded hoffman for the very same role. in fact, i feel that infamous will be totally overlooked due to capote's success last year. bu...

i didn't like batman begins. maybe because there was no villainess such as uma thurman (poison ivy) and michelle pfeiffer (catwoman). lol it would be a great idea to see brandon routh oscar-nominated but i don't think it will happen at all cause oscar voters are kinda boring. but then again, it wou...

yeah, congrats rolo! well, what can we say, x-men was proven to be frontloaded. unless the break-up has legs, i feel that 150 million would be quite a stretch. so far, its wom has been quite bad. next week, i think it's a given that cars would debut at the top spot. omen opens on tuesday so its wee...

I think An Inconvenient Truth can repeat the success of March Of The Penguins this year as Paramount Classics expand the film further throughout June. I agree with your Hedge & X-Men numbers but for Da Vinci, I think the max it could make is 250 million. Not that it matters actually, since it h...

I also feel that the visual effects were good, if not great. And don't forget the sound effects as well. The whole theater was shaking when Magneto slammed down the broken Golden Gate bridge onto the ground. Alas, I don't think the Academy is ready or even willing to give any nomination to a film l...

I don't like BOTH Brad & Vince. Unfortunately, X-Men didn't get to beat Spidey's record. Heck, it didn't even beat Shrek's record. But it did beat Lost World's Memorial Holiday weekend. With an estimated 107 million 3-day weekend opening, look forward to X-Men cracking the 250 million barrier. ...

Hence the term "desperately".

Don't worry, once she signed a brand new film, she'll announce it to the whole world. By then, all those Preitys, Ranis & Kajols can step aside.

with a $44 million single day take... as for the little film you keep championing, "the lake house," i liked the preview and the idea looks interesting, but keanu reeves is still an afront to the craft of acting. i still think that romance is dead. Amazing right?! I was expecting X-Men to...

Gonna skip this one. Instead, I'm desperately looking forward to Karisma Kapoor's comeback film.
