I went with Nicholson, for his slightly-above-sitcom-level performance in a sitcom-level movie.

I went with Palance. He wasn't bad, per se, but hardly made an award-worthy impression.

Which of these Best Supporting Actress winners gave the least impressive performance?

I went with Tomei. 12 years after the fact, it's still mind-boggling to me that her irritating, lightweight "performance" beat Judy Davis and Vanessa Redgrave.
