Re: [NE] Nomination Elim Game ('06- CONCLUDED)

OK... Wahlberg is terrific and funny in The Departed, but I'll close things off by replacing him with that great hissable bad guy, Sergei Lopez in Pan's Labyrinth.

Re: [NE] Nomination Elim Game ('06- RUDEBOY)

I was pretty surprised by the love for Haley's performance too. I guess a lot of people just wanted to find out if it was really that odd-looking little kid back on the scene, and if so where had he been all these years. Re: [NE] Nomination Elim Game ('06- RUDEBOY)

Group One Used my rescue too early… should have saved it for Penelope Cruz. Group Two Preserve Pan’s Labyrinth in Cinematography Group Three...

Lynne Ramsay, whose last film was the much acclaimed Ratcatcher (1999) Her last film prior to this was Morvern Callar, no? This is my most anticipated movie of the year so far. I was a huge fan of the novel, and the very talented Ramsey's attachment was something I was ready to celebrate as soon as...

Ease off!!! As one who, as a twelve year old, was riveted by The Jewel in the Crown, watching it avidly with my parents, I for one am saddened by Mr Taylor’s passing, and glad that Reza has informed us of it!
