I met her once. She came to see a show I was working on (i.e. one composed by her father), and the producer took her around to meet everyone afterwards. She was very lovely, and I think all of us were a bit awestruck that this eighty-year-old woman was so gracious as to want to meet so many of us after the show, and thank us for our work.
As a composer, she wasn't as talented as her father or son -- Once Upon a Mattress is pretty lightweight stuff -- but being a part of such a significant family of musical theater writers puts her in the books regardless.
