The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros is an excellent film. One of the best Filipino films I've seen this century so far. A must see. I made a thread about it in the Films of 2006 section.

Don't know about the other one.

Happy belated b-day!

PS there's two films from the Phillipines at the upcomng San Francisco International Film Festival: the Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros and a Short Film About the Indio Nacional (or The Prolonged Sorrow of Filipinos). Heard anything good about either of them?

Thanks, everyone!

I was hoping somebody would remember it. I'm glad somebody did. I love you all very much, with the kind of love I can give fonts on the screen.

I was wondering who would start anonymous' birthday thread when that day arrived? Anonymous couldn't very well do it.

Happy Birthday, dude! And check out the Snow White-Rob Lowe video I posted in celebration of your day.

(No, actually I didn't know.)
