I don't know where Are You There God... sits for me (haven't tried ranking films for the year, haven't seen a ton either), but I liked it a lot and think it's a really inspired pick. It's also a type of movie that isn't getting made a ton anymore, especially for theatrical platforms, although I wish we could get five more movies like it every year.

... this is ridiculous. 15 critics are in the Critics Circle, 23 are in the Film Critics Society (two are in both, for a total of 36 critics). Even my lovingly mocked Kansas City Film Critics Circle has 26 members.
