I first became aware of him as the male lead opposite Jean Simmons in the London cast recording of A Little Night Music. I remember him vividly from White Mischief and one of his last roles in an episode of Midsomer Murders. A great, if not terribly well known, actor.

So memorable in White Mischief.

The British actor was 95.
