I think the musical performer curse isn't one you can use against Lady Gaga. She is a prior nominee after all. I just think the Academy hated her movie. She was the best thing about it, which isn't saying a lot.

I'd be interested in your reasoning on this.

Every year there are 1-2 nominations make me mad as hell and i can't explain them. This year i thought that this could be one of them. Most of the people i know have seen the film, same have enjoyed it, most haven't (to put it mildly). So since it's one of the most viewed films of the year, i thought that it could be a filler of spots 7-10 in many Oscar voters' top10, if these voters haven't seen many films. I am thrilled i was wrong
