Some states allow you to use a post office box to register your vehicle. That could be an option.

I don't recall it being addressed. My guess is that they would use the addresses of relatives and friends.

I have yet to see Nomadland and have a question that I am curious if anyone who has seen it can tell me if/how it is addressed. I take it that at least a few characters do not have permanent addresses and travel/live in their vehicles. How are they able to maintain vehicle registration and insurance without a permanent address?

David Strathairn is more a cameo than a supporting performance. Total screen time is roughly 5 minutes.

The screenplay is a book adaptation. I’m not familiar with the book but there it looks like most of the dialogue is improvised.

Well, I think it’s too small to win best picture and it’s a not fun sitting or high entertainment. It’s a film to be experienced. A nomination absolutely.

Attended a screening of Nomadland this afternoon as the closing film of the Lisbon film festival.

Really taken by it. A movie about loneliness, individual choices and growing older. Shot as a documentary at times it’s a love letter to the most profound USA.

As for awards consideration Frances McDormand is stunning but it’s probably way to small to win best picture.

Highly recommended.
