Re: Dolittle
Not that anyone will much care but this got a panning from The Hollywood Reporter. I suspect most other reviews will be similar: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/revie ... ew-1269681

Re: Dolittle
Neither the 1998 Eddie Murphy film nor this are technically remakes of the ludicrously Oscar nominated 1967 Rex Harrison film. They are, however, based on the same classic children's books which were pretty good as far as I remember from too many years ago to count. Writer/director Stephen Gaghan did co-write Traffic and Syriana so it could be a step up from previous attempts at bringing the good doctor to life on the screen, but perhaps not by much.
The January release date does suggest that it's not an Oscar caliber film.

Dolittle
Example number one million of there are too many remakes/sequels, they are remaking Dr. Dolittle with Robert Downey Jr. in the title role.
