R.I.P. Robert Forster

Whether they are behind the camera or in front of it, this is the place to discuss all filmmakers regardless of their role in the filmmaking process.

I'm glad for him he got to see his career revived thanks to Tarantino, after too long laboring in B-level stuff. My fondest memory of him will always be from Medium Cool.

I don't think Robert Forster ever gave a bad performance. He was brilliant in last year's What We Had and should have gotten an Oscar nod for that over his contemporary Sam Elliott in the over-rated A Star Is Born.

This is a shock. I'm JUST watching him in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and I was thinking, "Oh, goody. Robert Forster! He's always a welcome presence in anything that he appears in." A truly wonderful character actor. RIP.

Story.
