If Saoirse Ronan can't beat Brie Larson at the BAFTA's, where it's technically her home turf and her film has more nominations, then her chance at upsetting her at the Oscars is damn near impossible. She's not quite as big a lock as Leonardo DiCaprio but Larson IS a lock for this prize. Blanchett just recently won and her film isn't liked in a lot of quarters. Rampling may get a lot of veteran love but I think her nomination is her reward. Lawrence is comfortably in 5th place.
