I remember when Damien said "Jesse Eisenberg for Best Actor? The NBR has gone from old to senile." I think today he would say something like, "Mad Max for Best Picture? All the members must have made their fifteen-year-old grandchildren fill out their ballots."

Holy crap!

Much deserved, IMO. It's not only Internet fan boys who love Mad Max: Fury Road. Both Cahiers du Cinema and Sight & Sound placed it in their Top 10.

Well, I'm happy for Brie Larson at least. And also Jacob Tremblay for his Breakthrough Award. He absolutely should be nominated alongside Larson.
