Interesting. I think Will Smith's two Best Actor nominations are among the most underrated nominations of the decade. He's quite good in both films, but Bernal is quite excellent. I hate The Science of Sleep. It's an intolerably juvenile film, but he finds some very wonderful notes.
1. Replace Will Smith in Best Actor with Gael Garcia Bernal in The Science of Sleep.

I'll replace Forest Whitaker (one of the worst winners of the decade) with Leonardo DiCaprio's greatest performance to date...in The Departed.
Although I like Santaolalla, Babel barely has enough original music to be eligible. I'll replace it with another score that compliments a soundtrack, Howard Shore's score for The Departed, one of the coolest of his career.
In the category of Best Visual Effects, replace Poseidon which the otherwise obnoxious Science of Sleep. It boasts incredibly joyous and inventive effects.

So, looking back, it seems I had the wrong code in when I put up 2005 before as it should have been 2006 way back when, not 2005. So, I went ahead and just changed this one to 2006. And some time today, I should be able to restart the turn.
