The only thing that would piss me off is if the lip-syncher defeats the great Christie. (ANd from what I'm hearing, it seems more and more likely. She's been working the town like a cheap whore outside a naval station, and a publicist I know -- not connected with her --says that every actor he knows voted for her).

EVERY Juno's nomination is totally undeserving, i just can't believe how could an average film like that got nominated for everything...

However, James Newton Howard's win would piss me off, he is an amazing composer but doesn t deserve even a nomination for Michael Clayton. I mean, he got nominated for this and not for King Kong... :O

I agree about Juno, but Ellen Page especially. Other pisser-offers:

Ruby Dee
There Will Be Blood only winning one Oscar
Ratatouille winning for Score or Sound
The Tonto Woman or My Love in the shorts
Falling Slowly losing

And no matter what Diablo Cody says, I know it will piss me off.

Well? Every year Academy make at least one choice that pisses us off.

What would make you pissed off now, about the whole ceremony?

-frenetic blabling about the WGA strike
-Ratatouille not winning Best Animated
