It may be the most bizarre Oscar piece of trivia ever, if it happens.
Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones has long been discussed as his opportunity to score a coveted post-LOTR Oscar. While we haven't seen it, those who've read the source seem impressed and believe it to be the perfect Oscar vehicle.
If Jackson WERE to win and he should maintain his amazing amount of lost weight, he could be the biggest Oscar loser, losing the most weight between wins in the History of the Academy. Of course, that would probably pair with the record (and this is purely conjectures) that Brando had the biggest Oscar weight gain between wins...
What do you think? Know of any other famously portly winners to come back later and win after losing a tremendous amount of weight or vice versa?
