Is This Something To Fear?
Well, they would have to find out who did it to begin with otherwise they'd just be attacking the entire Middle East instead of any one individual country/region/group. If it turns out to be some crazy-ass American, they would find out before they pressed the wrong button.
Hopefully...

"It's the least most of us can do, but less of us will do more."
I remember just after the Oklahoma City bombing that many people, including individuals in the media, speculated that the attack was made by Middle East terrorists. Fortunately, they caught Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols before the United States took any military action. What worries me is that if the United States begins to pull out troops from Iraq that some would-be Nichols and McVeighs, in order to satiate their war lust, would attempt an attack similar to the Oklahoma City bombing in the hopes that, in a post-9/11 world, the United States this time would respond reflexively with a military attack in the Middle East. How likely a threat do you consider this to be?
