Lots of affection for Kramer vs. Kramer, Five Easy Pieces, Walkabout, Murder on the Orient Express, and the three big horror films of the decade: The Exorcist, The Omen and Halloween, among others.

I was actually interested to learn from Charlton Heston's acting journals, 'The Actor's Life', that he was offered the role that eventually went to Gregory Peck. On turning it down: "This Fox film could have been effective, if perfectly done, but it could also have come off very cheaply, too. On top of which, it would've put me overseas throughout the fall" (July 27, 1975, on a project called Antichrist) He later commented: "It was made very effectively as The Omen, competing with Midway as the most successful film of 1976."
"Because here’s the thing about life: There’s no accounting for what fate will deal you. Some days when you need a hand. There are other days when we’re called to lend a hand." -- President Joe Biden, 01/20/2021
