I agree with Bog, this is a terrific list, Precious.

I like Murnau's City Girl a great deal -- and it's fascinnating when looked at as the flipside of Sunrise -- but still, I have to say, seeing Charlie Farrell as Best Actor makes me smile because no matter what he'll always be My Little Margie's Vern Albright to me.

And I'm delighted that someone other than my gang of freinds appreciated John Hurt in Scandal. (Ian McKellen as Profumo is also terrific in the film, as is Bridget Fonda.)
