R.I.P. George Michael

Whether they are behind the camera or in front of it, this is the place to discuss all filmmakers regardless of their role in the filmmaking process.

Yet another sad 2016 loss. I can't say I was a fan, particularly, though he had a few pop songs I liked listening to on the radio. He had a beautiful voice except when he did the breathy thing, which was way too often. What was most fascinating about him was his coming out in such a public way. I admired how he came to own his unconventional--public sex, etc.--sexuality and challenged norms. In any case he was a gay brother who suffered along the way, and I feel sad that he died so young.
