Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Same to you, my friend.
Not much thanks for the weather -- had to postpone my trip to my parents'; hope an early train tomorrow will get me there in time for dinner at a cousin's house. The fallback to that is a turkey sandwich at a deli.
Best to all as the holidays kick off.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Although I'm not here as often, you'll always be my good friends. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, I hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow and an equally wonderful rest-of-the-year. And, of course, a hearty appetite. Can't forget that.
Our Thanksgiving will be very unusual this year. We're having duck instead of turkey, we're having it tonight, we're having the large family celebration on Saturday instead of Thursday.... and, for both my wife and for me, this will be our first Thanksgiving without our fathers around. But our beautiful 21 month old little girl gives us reasons to be beyond thankful every day. So, a bittersweet holiday season this year.
