Sonic, if you don't think there is a runner-up don't list one. If your prediction is right, it's worth three points.

ETA: Aha! I just noticed the new scoring system. Hmmm.... must think about this.

Best Picture
The Artist (It's the 3rd-best film among the nominees, and history has proven that the 3rd best film usually wins.)

Best Director
Michel Hazanavicius (Marty gets skunked again.)

Best Actor
Jean Dujardin (He's French, he's insousiant and "insousiant" is a French word. Result: Oscar!)
(RU: George Clooney)

Best Actress
Viola Davis (Since Davis is considered the heart, soul and moral backbone of the film... see Octavia Davis below...)
(RU: The Streepster)

Best Supporting Actor
Christopher Plummer (Thank you for not retiring.)

Best Supporting Actress
Octavia Spencer (See Viola Davis above... and since Spencer's winning this one, it'd look racist not to give it to Davis.)

Best Original Screenplay
Midnight in Paris (Woody comes up for air one last time... unless The Artist proves to be a steamroller.)
(RU: The Artist)

Best Adapted Screenplay
The Descendants (because it wouldn't be the Oscars unless there's a rephrehensible winner.)

Best Original Score
The Artist

Best Original Song
"Man or Muppet"
(RU: Rio... either way, dawg, I'm gettin' points!)

Best Foreign-Language Film

Big Magilla wrote:The most intriguing question at this point is will the TV cameras find Mother Dolores (the former Dolores Hart) in the audience and will more than 10% of the world-wide audience know who she is?
The Academy would be very stupid not to acknowledge her. She's one of the ''club members'' who did ''good'' and now has a hand in one of the nominated films this year. Plus it would make for an Oscar moment for the worldwide audience. Maybe Billy Crystal will point her out and acknowledge her?
I believe that my local newspaper, Newsday, did a story about her not too long ago. I imagine other publications have done the same at some point. She has a fascinating story to tell, and a documentary short about her that's nominated. Her being at the Oscars, in a habit no less, will be good TV.
