My friends call me Sonic, dude!

Don't tell Italiano, but it'll be in the ***1/2 column somewhere.

And let me mention the don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which Warner Bros. was good enough to release in the theaters for a week or two. I found it very disappointing, but Robert Downey, Jr.'s comic performance is so explosive and astonishingly agile, it deserves a nomintion. Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Will Farrel and that Fallon doofus are further exposed as low-to-no-talents, and here's the comparative evidence.

I know! Wasn't it good? Glad you liked it! :p

Which did you prefer? Red Eye or Femme Fatale?

God.. my list looks like a damn fanboy list. I finally see a new movie after more than three months, and it's Harry Potter. Perhaps I should order Crash off the Pay-Per-View.

01. Batman Begins (d. Christopher Nolan) *** 1/2
02. War of the Worlds (d. Steven Spielberg) *** 1/2
03. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (d. Mike Newell) ***
04. Wedding Crashers (d. David Dobkin) ***
05. Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith (d. George Lucas) ***
06. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (d. Garth Jennings) ** 1/2
07. Kingdom of Heaven (d. Ridley Scott) ** 1/2
08. Sin City (d. Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller) ** 1/2
09. Hitch (d. Andy Tennant) ** 1/2
10. Bewitched (d. Nora Ephron) **
11. Kicking and Screaming (d. Jesse Dylan) * 1/2
12. Monster-in-Law (d. Robert Luketic) zero stars

Meet the Fockers **
Sideways ***1/2
The Aviator **1/2
Million Dollar Baby ***
Hotel Rwanda ***
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy **1/2
Revenge of the Sith **
Sin City ***1/2
Kicking and Screaming *1/2
Batman Begins ***
Madagascar **
War of the Worlds **
Mr. and Mrs. Smith **1/2
Wedding Crashers ***
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ***
40-Year Old Virgin ***1/2
The Island (negative **** worst movie of the last 10 years)
Squid and the Whale ***1/2

I know, lots of leftovers from last year at the beginning, but accessability is usually limited in these parts. Too bad nobody mentions the episodic, but hilarious script for the "40-Year Old Virgin" as an outside contender.
