Yeah, their timing is way off and Franco keeps looking down at his shoes. I thought the opening could have used some trimming, although I loved Hathaway's southern accent.

Bollwood on the red carpet. Nominee A R Rahman of course but also actors Abhishek Bachchan, his wife Ashwarya Rai and director Ashotosh Gowarikar.

Didn't recognize Jennifer Lawrence.

Yes... Well actually the Italian correspondent is now interviewing Colin Firth and his wife (she's Italian and he speaks perfect Italian) and the questions aren't much deeper...

They're playing to the non-cineaste audience. The point of much of this is to draw a larger audience to the Oscars, not turn people into true film lovers.

Just wondering - and I'm not being anti-American... Why so many stupid questions? And why so many stupid answers? Actors should be A BIT intelligent - some of them at least.
