I've done a few classes at Carleton University while finishing up my Ph.D. (which should be defended this summer). I'm still waiting to hear about some jobs and postdocs for next year... the postdocs are a stronger likelihood from the looks of things, especially the one I applied for at CUNY Staten Island. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a faculty job at some school or another in the next few years at least.

Influential film theorist and historian at the University of Chicago. As it happens, I am teaching from her book Babel & Babylon tomorrow in my Silent Cinema class: http://filmstudiesforfree.blogspot.com/2011....of.html
