Early November is too early, but maybe we should move it up to the day after Thanksgiving which would give more people an opportunity to participate before he springs his list on us.

We should start the contest early November to make sure we have a lot of entries before Peter Travers plops his Top 10 list. Anyway, 4 entries were able to sneak in before he released it and here are the results. Let me know if there's any discrepancies in the calculations.

FilmFan720 = 9 points.
ksrymy = 10 points
anonymous1980 = 12 points

and this year's champion is:

Big Magilla with 14 points!

Congrats!

FUN FACT: Everyone correctly predicted that he'd have Boyhood and Birdman as #1 and #2 respectively. And once again, predicting an animated film, a foreign film and a documentary did not pay off.

I think Sonic is referring to Peter Travers.

I think you actually did win...and I think I came in last. Again.

Has Travers crossed the line to full-fledged Oscar blogger? Unbroken is getting some blistering reviews -- it's at 59 on Metacritic, and rotten on the Tomato thing. What reason for it to make his list, apart from "it's been expected as an Oscar contender"?

Thank you, anonymous. I'll try to have a ballot of my own soon. BTW, I wasn't too busy to do it. Just unmotivated. A toddler who discovers that letting food spill out of her mouth and onto the floor is the funniest activity ever? Things like that tend to make one's brain go all foggy......
