Not physically though (you live too far). It was a reaction to one of your - several - childish lies, and you know that.

Anyway, this thread can be read by anyone. And anyone can judge.

This coming from a person who literally threatened to "destroy me" a couple of years ago. Please.

I'd say Despicable Me 2 because I got some needed rest with that one - I slept through the whole thing.

I will be as direct, honest and straightforward as you always are, Eric, so I'm sure you'll appreciate it: those are exactly the kind of movies you should stick with in your life.

Look on the bright side. At least this site isn't debating whether Iron Man 3 or Despicable Me 2 is the best film of the year.

Well, in that case I wouldn't be here!

Plus, I don't see what's wrong about using Google to provide the links that you kept insisting I should provide. I tried not to do that, because usially an intelligent person doesn't need THAT to understand a point, but you weren't convinced, so what could I do? And now suddenly it's a "little Google search"!

Well, it actually sounded more like a challenge... But no problem for me. One of the good things of being rational (or, let me say it, European) is that I never say something which isn't objective, which can't be proved.

But I mean - that this movie was considered by many to be the definitive film on slavery is obvious. One must have slept for the last few months even just to doubt this, come on...

I never said you were wrong (so, follows to suit, I won't be proclaiming you're right). All I asked was that you provide some back-up for you claim which your went on a little Google search to fetch for me. And, now you have. So, as they say, that is that.

Ok. I hate to do this, but here are just SOME of the links:

But there are really so many more... even not in the English language. All duly repeated here for the promotion of this movie.

Unlike you I am not a child. But for once, like you, I will act like one. Now you must say: Sorry, Italiano, you were right. Now.

That's not something I've ever said. That's not a comparison I've ever made, let alone thought.

Also, when did anyone decide that Schindler's List is the "definitive" movie on the Holocaust, btw? Was it decided at some official tribunal?

You said that it was being sold as the "definitive" film on slavery. Calling something a masterpiece doesn't equate definitiveness. Those two words are not synonyms. So, again, provide some back-up for your claim. We'll wait.

Also, why this need to get personal? I very much live in this world.
