I'm discussing it on the Best Original Screenplay of 2012 thread above. That means you know either Kristen Connolly or Anna Hutchinon, both of whom are fairly perfect cast for a Whedon-scripted film. Which is to say they're very good at breathing new life into their archetypal roles. It's hard not to cite Joss Whedon before any other name when writing about The Cabin in the Woods, but Drew Goddard would get my vote for Best First Feature of 2012.
