Other than Jesse Eisenberg, Fincher and Sorkin, very interesting choices, especially in the runners-up. Disapointing though that these people rank the deliciously awful faux-Polanski picture 15 places higher than the wonderful, genuine article.

Every year Mike D'Angelo announces the Skander Halim Memorial Movie Survey, aka the "Skandies". I don't participate in it but they have a record for some very interesting choices.

Last year, Inglorious Basterds cleaned up Picture, Director, Supporting Actor (Waltz) and Actress (Laurent), Screenplay, and Scene ("Once Upon a Time in Nazi-Occupied France") with Actor going to Joaquin Phoenix for Two Lovers and Actress going to Tilda Swinton for Julia.

The year before, 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days took Picture and Actress (Marinca), Silent Light taking Best Director for Carlos Reygadas and Best Scene ("Sunrise"), Mickey Rourke winning Best Actor, Heath Ledger winning Best Supporting Actor, Rosemarie DeWitt taking Best Supporting Actress, and Burn After Reading winning Best Screenplay.

These are their winners for 2010 (total votes/# of ballots):
