Sissy Spacek, Susan Sarandon, & Holly Hunter were on Oprah's Oscar-themed show yesterday. It was very enjoyable for someone such as myself, who follows The Academy Awards.
Near the show's end, Oprah asked a general question about who they were really big on for 2011. "Any names come to mind?" was the line-of-question. Sissy Spacek replied, "Melissa Leo."
As I've been following this year's race, it seems Best Supporting Actress is/was the only toss-up race. Now it seems with Spacek's sort of endorsement, now even THAT category is a bit of a lock.
Did anyone else see yesterday's Oprah? What's your reaction to Sissy Spacek's open endorsement of Melissa Leo?
