How was the reception of The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus? Apparently the films that I wanted to see the most at the begining of the year eventually failed to impress in the way I expected (I include The Lovely Bones in the list).

Might Bigelow, the previously non-respected director become the firt woman to get the Oscar for Best Director? If that's the case can you imagine the moment: the ex-wife with the "small" film based on a real world winning over the likes of the ex-husband with the big-budget film with the fantasy war that attempts to criticize the same reality with more CGI than we need?

Maybe Tarantino or recently rentable Reitman might end up victorious...

I do want to make some predictions, but I'll wait for now. However, I have a feeling that Diane Kruger is going to show up in Supporting Actress in place of Julianne Moore.
