I would be THRILLED if The Messenger overtook Nine and Samantha Morton received a mention over the Nine girls!
Are Alfred Molina's chances completely dead? Is that supporting actor lineup really locked in stone, despite a couple pretty weak candidates?
Original Screenplay feels like it's been sewn up for a while now -- is anyone predicting anything other than those five?
On the other hand, Adapted Screenplay seems like anybody's guess for the last couple spots. How cool for District 9 and Fantastic Mr. Fox (or maybe In the Loop) to possibly overtake the snoozy Oscar-baiters!!
