Hehe... still, congrats to both of ya! :D

And most importantly to Cinemanolis for organizing this contest. Thank you very much! :)
Have you and Sandy had a falling out or are you purposely leaving her out of all your predictions so as not to jinx her?

With a Southern accent...
"Don't you dare lie to me!" and...
"You threaten my congeniality, you threaten me!"

"You shouldn't be doing what you're doing. The truth is enough!"
"Are you and Perry?" ... "Please, Nelle."

Oh wow, cool! I finally won a contest! :)

However, I didn't realize that I had predicted 6 nominees. Had I known, I would've gone back and deleted one.

Thanks for the tabulations, Manolis.

Shouldn't Movie Wes lose points for predicting a tie that didn't happen? Just kidding, he can have bragging rights here. After all I won the Peter Travers contest. I think it's the first time I won anything on this board since I correctly predicted Gods and Monsters would win the NBR award in 1998.

The last time one of my bold predictions came true at the Oscars was when I predicted Titanic would set a new record for both box office and Oscar recognition before the film opened or we saw a single review.

Now onto the SAG predictions.

So...what you're saying is...my notion that the Foreign Press wouldn't care about The Hurt Locker and Precious...didn't really...work?

Results are in

9. Zahveed 92

8. Sabin 97

7. Criddic 99

6. Cinemanolis 102

5. Hustler 103

3. anonymous 104

3. Van Helsing 104

2. Big Magilla 107

1. Movie Wes 108

But... Movie Wes had listed 6 nominees in his Best Picture (Drama) predictions. So i regard it a kind of deuce between Movie Wes and Big Magilla.

Congratulations guys.

And kudos to Van Helsing for being the only one who predicted both Tobey Maguire and The Maid.

I guess lobbying paid off - they allowed Harrelson in support.

Took Ben Foster out of my Best Actor - Drama predictions and replaced him with Jeremy Renner; took Tobey Maguire out of my alternate pick and replaced him with Viggo Mortensen.

Took Alec Baldwin out of my Supporting Actor predictions, moving Stanley Tucci up and replacing him as an alternate with Matt Damon.
Should have left Tobey as an alternate but my one dumb move is balanced by my one smart one with Tucci and Damon.

Thank you. Resume regularly scheduled programming.
They usually do despite the lack of information available in the on-line guide.

One of the morning shows (Good Morning America?) is going to be watching the announcements live with Gabourey Sidibe so they can catch her reaction when her name is announced.
