I think it will be down to the wire, but The Hurt Locker should ultimately prevail.

I also think it's too soon to call Best Actress. The Blind Side's Best Picture nod would seem to give Bullock a leg up, but there are probably enough Academy members who would rather see Streep win her third to make it interesting.

Many of us correctly assumed Bullock would take the SAG over Streep who already has three wins including one last just last year, but the Oscar could still go either way.

I wouldn't bet on it. We're all predicting Hurt Locker for Best Picture, but I think it may be wise to change that to Avatar as that's likely where the Academy will go.
