I also liked how they focused on non-dialogue moments of the screenplays, showing that a great screenplay is more than witty dialogue and funny lines.

I loved the way that the screenplay categories were presented with a microscope into how each script worked. And Sally Hawkins, ignored by the Academy, got practically an entire clip all her own to show why she gave last year's best female performance.

The only best picture nominee in the category, so it was almost a lock.

..Nice speech, screenwriters often give the best speeches.

Milk was widely considered to be the winner in this category. I doubt it's predictive.
