Almost everything. This is probably the first year I've not seen any of the Best Picture nominees before nominations day. I did see The Reader this afternoon, which I'm planning on doing a long-form piece on, and it's not going to be nice.

Haven't seen:

Frost/Nixon
the Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Changeling
Frozen River
Doubt
the Wrestler
Vicky Christina Barcelona
Revolutionary Road
the Duchess
Australia
Defiance
Wanted
Hellboy 2
Bolt

I've seen no foreign film, live action short, or documentary short nominees.

I've seen one animated short nominee (Presto) and three documentary feature nominees (Man on Wire, Encounters at the End of the World, and the Betrayal).

Edited 'cause I finally saw Rachel Getting Married. 7/10

I'm missing:

In Bruges (it's been sitting atop my Netflix queue for a while, but the wait is long)
Wanted
four of the foreign films (save Waltz With Bashir)
three of the docs (save Man on Wire and Encounters)
all the shorts (save Presto)

Defiance
The Duchess
Frost/Nixon
Frozen River
Happy-Go-Lucky
In Bruges
Rachel Getting Married
The Reader
Revolutionary Road
Slumdog Millionaire
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
The Visitor
The Wrestler

and all the documentary, foreign and short films save for Presto!

Changeling is currently showing in two theaters here locally (I said to myself I'll only see it if Angelina gets nominated. I guess I have to now - EDIT - Done!). Australia will be shown here next week. Milk, The Reader and Frost/Nixon, I heard, is scheduled for release sometime next month. Revolutionary Road and Doubt are also scheduled for release (because there are posters of them in the theaters). No idea if/when the others will get theatrical release here though my mentor has a screening copy of In Bruges.

I don't know about you guys but I think it's a good idea for the Academy to release the nominated short films on-line so that more people can actually SEE them and not change the channel or go to the bathroom whenever the categories are on.

I'm actually astounded that I've already seen so many of the nominees. I'm kinda shocked. Only Defiance do I have on DVD already, the rest I'd have to watch through Netflix...if I felt so inclined.

The Reader
Bolt
Rachel Getting Married
Frozen River
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
In Bruges
Defiance
The Duchess
Wanted

Foreign & Documentary in total, Short Films: all except Presto (it's an extraordinary film and I will be disheartened if it doesn't win. It's the best short from Pixar since For the Birds).
